Standards
'...pupils cover a great deal of work in lessons and explains why standards are above average in English, mathematics and science by the time they leave.' (Ofsted, 2007)
We are very proud of the results the children in our school achieve. Whilst teaching a broad and balanced curriculum, we still maintain the importance of key skills in English, Maths and Science.
The table below outlines the results achieved in the end of KS1 and KS2 Assessments in 2007.

| Speaking and Listening | 100% | 23% |
| Reading | 92% | 38% |
| Writing | 92% | 31% |
| Maths | 100% | 31% |
| Science | 100% | 31% |
| Key Stage 2 (20 Children) | Level 4 and above | Level 5 |
| English | 100% | 55% |
| Maths | 100% | 50% |

The school's targets for Key Stage 2 in 2007 were 90% at Level 4 and above and 48% at Level 5 in both English and Maths and we are very pleased to have exceeded these figures. The expected level for children at the end of Key Stage 2 is Level 4.
