British Values
Raising the children of our school community to have a strong sense of what it means to be British is very important to us. We believe that British Values permeate our curriculum and everyday life at school; whether through opportunities such as our older children working alongside and with our youngest children, or through visits to the community, such as children regularly visiting a local residential home and talking to the residents about their lives and experiences and our festivals and celebrations in the local church. We have a thriving school council, who regularly collect opinions from the school community and make decisions about spending funds and how to improve our school. Through our half term challenges we ask our children to think on topics like 'What makes Great Britain great?' or to create a meal to share as a family.
