Independence and Self-regulation
independence and self-regulation are vital to successful learning. They allow children to think and act for themselves and to understand and accept that learning is and can be difficult and that failure is a vital part of the learning process. This means that they are not scared of failure, but embrace it and understand that their best learning will take place when things sometimes go wrong.
To help children and families consider their own levels of independence and self-regulation, we will be publishing a range of leaflets with guidance and advice for how to work on these areas. Please see below for some ideas.
