Weekly Homework Expectations for Year 1/2
Read 3 x weekly (more is always encouraged please) – Reading diaries to be signed to earn 10 minutes of Golden Time
Children are not expected to complete TT Rockstars at this stage of the year – Information will be sent later in the Summer Term for year 2's.
Reading Diaries will be checked on a Friday.
PE days are a WEDNESDAY - please come into school in PE kit, weather appropriate.

The homework sheet will be sent out via Scopay at the beginning of every half term with ideas of projects they could complete to support their learning of the themes we will be covering. Attached below is a copy of the SPRING Term 1 homework sheet just in case;

Year 2 Mastering number focus _W/C 02.03.26
Children will:
- recap bonds of 10
- reason about and solve problems that involve adding across 10
- recap how 3, 4 and 5 can be partitioned when 1 is a part
- reason about and solve problems that involve adding across 10.
- subitise numbers 11–14, presented as ‘10 and a bit’
- reason about and solve problems that involve adding across 10.
- represent in a part–part–whole diagram how 5 can be split
- represent addition stories pictorially.
