Restart a Heart Day

We had the most amazing day on Friday, learning how to look after people in an emergency. The infants learnt about how to get help in an emergency and the basics of first aid, while the juniors learnt about CPR and how to use a defibrillator as well. We need to say an enormous 'THANK YOU' to Amanda for volunteering her time for free; it brought so much omreto the day having an expert on site. We also need to say thank you to Emerald First Aid for allowing her to use their equipment for the day, meaning the children used proper resuscitation dummies and training defibs. It was fantastic to see the children learning skills that really could save a life and having great fun while doing it.
